Heavenly Vault, Niedersächsische Musiktage, Germany - 24/9/17 @ 19:30
We are delighted to perform as part of this year's Niedersächsische Musiktage.
This concert takes you to impressive rooms of world religions. Mediated by projected images of famous sacred buildings, the impression is made for the audience to be in the respective church, synagogue or mosque. Together with the vocal and brass music, composed for the nine different sacred buildings, the concert becomes an audio-visual time journey that unites world religions in a wonderful way.
Stockholm Chamber Brass will be performing music by Palestrina, Purcell and Gabrieli along with Murray Schafer's recreation of the Shah Abbas Mosque in Isfahan, Iran, for three brass quintets.
We shall be joined by brass students of the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover along with Kammerchor Stade and hamburgVOKAL.
Tickets: €25, concessions €20
