Stockholm Chamber Brass celebrate its 30th anniversary with special guest soloist and conductor Håkan Hardenberger!
Reflecting on their legacy so far Stockholm Chamber Brass will perform a programme of brass classics such as Malcolm Arnold's Brass Quintet and Witold Lutoslawski Mini Overture, as well as works commissioned by the group themselves, including Anders Hillborg’s Brass Quintet and Benjamin Staern’s Confrontation for Solo Trumpet and Brass Quintet with Håkan Hardenberger. The concert will finish with Elgar Howarth’s legendary arrangement of Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition where the quintet will be joined by some of their former members from the last 30 years to form a large brass ensemble of the highest calibre!
