Since their formation in 1988, Stockholm Chamber Brass have led the way in brass chamber music. Also renowned for being some of the leading brass pedagogues in Europe, the group decided to establish their own academy in 2016.

This year Stockholm Chamber Brass will bring masterclasses for individual brass students and existing brass ensembles to the north of Sweden at Framnäs folkhögskola in Pitea, where you can experience the midnight sun.  The Stockholm Chamber Brass masterclasses at Framnäs offer a unique opportunity for performers to develop their brass playing with one of the world's leading brass quintets. 

Performers can apply as individuals or as existing groups and all applicants will receive masterclasses, workshops, concert opportunities and the opportunity to play in large brass ensembles!

The 2024 masterclasses will take place from the 13th-19th June.
